The Maplewood Band

ABOUT

The Maplewood Band was put together to showcase great local musicians and to provide a high level of musicianship, on occasion, for chosen events and fundraisers. The Core MWB members are Jim Italiano (Guitar),Jimmy Italiano Jr. ( Guitar), Joseph Italiano (Drums), and Justin Italiano (Bass) and Mike Reeves ( Keyboards). The MWB shows that a professional quality band can be put together for fun by busy business owners and other individuals who work a day job. The MWB has a Jazz-Rock (mostly instrumental) feel. 

The “Maplewood Band” was an idea from Jim Italiano, owner of The Maplewood Restaurants located in Southern NJ.

Jim Italiano : "We are basically a family that jams together. You can tease and call us the Partridge Family, but there’s some serious musicianship going on here".

 Jim (the dad) is an amalgamation of styles, Justin likes, and emulates, a 'Marcus Miller' style and Joseph dreamt of playing drums for Miles Davis. Jimmy Jr. describes his music as melodic death metal or metal core with death and thrash elements. Robin and Jesse have successful Worship and Music Ministry paths. Jeremy sings and dabbles on the keys. Sometimes they mash it all together as a family that plays music as a side gig, while working for a living.
